FCE and multicore support?

Hi guys!


On my MBP Core Duo, I noticed that iMovie09 only uses like 148% of my CPU power, so not even 2 cores.

This has led me to thinking - how is multi core support in Final Cut Express?? I.e - does it fully support 2 or 4 cores like Sony Vegas does???


Is there any GPU acceleration yet? Any improvements with Snow Leopard???
