Hi

I read somewhere that when i upgrade the mac os fce or any other pro apps i have heave to be reinstalled. Is this truw and if so will it would against my single licence limit? By the way i have fce 4.0.1 (latest release) Thank you!

:apple: is cool

You don't have to reinstall any compatible apps (FCE is compatible). When you pop in your Snow Leopard disc, make sure you select "Archive and Install" and not pick anything that says "Clean Install" or "Erase".

So, you won't need to reinstall apps or worry about licenses.

So the clean install is the upgrade install?

No, anything that says "Clean Install" or "Erase" will delete EVERYTHING.

I believe once you pop in Snow Leopard onto your Mac, those options to Erase everything are hidden (so people don't accidentally select them).

Once you pop in your disc, it will just Upgrade your Mac if you just follow the on-screen guide. After that, you will have all your apps, pictures, music, movies etc. still on your Mac - but now you have Snow Leopard.

Quicktime X is installed by default. If you want Quicktime 7 Pro it is on the Snow Leopard DVD but is not installed by default (You have to select it to install).

Thank you
