Example: If I bring in a dv tape of my son's Christmas concert and import it to a bin within a project called, "Concert 2008", how can I make those video clips within that project available to use in other projects, ie "2008 Year in Review" project? Should I export the subclips within "Concert 2008" into a generic video folder so I can use them in any other project? Also, export them as QuickTime movie (which oddly shows up as a FCE video file) or as QuickTime conversion?

Any media on your harddrive can be added to any project. You can also copy and paste clips, sequences, etc., between projects. No need to export additional files or anything like that.
