Hello all,

I've recently begun to receive monatary compensation for some video editing and video/photo montage projects I have worked on. I guess that makes me a professional?! Anyway, I am currently using iMovie 6 with plug-ins from Gee Three on my 2GHz Blackbook to accomplish these projects. So far, so good.

The other day I was asked to edit and post-produce some commercials for a local TV station. Before agreeing to take this project, I need to know if I can affectively accomplish this with what I am using. Do I need to look into FCE, or can I use iMovie and Gee Three to make professional-looking commercials?

Thanks in advance.

FCE enables you to do so much more, and in the long run is probably cheaper than gee three. there is a rather large learning curve transitioning from imovie to FCE though.

You don't need FCE, but you can do so much more, you'll really want to look in to it if you plan on doing any more work like this.
