FCE Still Photo slideshow problems

I am making a slideshow on FCE. I have imported photos and am arranging and editing them as needed. But when I add transitions and play the movie in my viewing window the picture seems to jump or jolt after the fade-in completes itself. When I have no transitions, of course the pictures look fine. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Render the Sequence with Option + R.

I just tried it, importing photos with different resolutions, put them in a PAL DV timeline, made some cross dissolves, and the jump a little bit to.
After rendering the Sequence the jumping was gone.
