FCP 10.6.2 – Transitions broken?

Since updating to the latest point release, dropping a transition onto a clip doesn't do anything. I can copy a transition from a different clip onto a new one as a workaround but there's clearly something broken here. Anybody else seeing this?

Man, this is a pretty obvious bug that they missed. Is nobody testing their releases over at Apple? The most basic project would have transitions. How do they miss this?

Yes, drag and drop transitions are not working.
If you want to apply them, there is actually a faster way built in.

1. Select the clip you want to apply the transition to
2. Double click the transition

It will add it to the clip, start and end of it.
