FCP 6 footage to FCP 4.5

i started editing some footage on Final cut pro 6 on my macbook pro and now i need to start editing the footage on a powermac g5 that has final cut 4.5 on it. 4.5 says that the footage cant be downgraded from version to version. so is there a way i can convert what i've edited and all my clips to work on final cut 4.5?
