Hi,
I just moved up to Final Cut Studio 3 from Express 4.0, and am still getting situated. I have a mid-09 13" MBP, 4G ram, 500G HD. One thing I noticed that is different from Express is when I add any kind of text in an overlay, or even a simple Matte clip, the viewer requires it to be rendered to see it. On FCE, there was no issue with simple stuff like this, and I could play back a preview without having to render every time. Is there just some setting I need to adjust? I assume it has something to do with the Dynamic RT feature?
Thanks,
Dan
