I recently bought a new Apple keyboard and am having issues using my FCP F-Key shortcuts. By default F9 and F10 in FCP are set to Insert and Overwrite edit respectively, but on this new keyboard it seems they do not work. Is there a way to disable the keys default function when in FCP? I'm sure they're must be a work around for this but I can't seem to figure it out on my own. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

M

Well in case anyone else is interested, I figured it out. You need to select the "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" option in the Keyboard menu in System Preferences.
