FCP/iMovie multitrack video help for noob pls :)

Hi!
New to video editing, I have access to final cut pro and imovie etc..
I was wondering how to do the following:
how do i get multiple video clips playing at once in a grid across the screen?
i'm trying to produce videos of me singing multiple parts to acappella songs.

Some questions:

• Do you know how to put one clip on the timeline in FCP?
• Do you know how to change the frame size of a clip in the canvas?

If you can do both of those things, you are halfway there.

Do it once, then repeat on v2, v3 and so on.
