Hi! I'm running the UB version of Final Cut Pro with a Mac Pro 2.66, 1GB RAM. I feel like it's not performing all that well. I can't run it under Unlimited RT or else I'll get dropped frames. It also seems like my external LaCie drive is not fast enough when connected through FW800 port. Render times are kinda slow as well. I feel it should be running faster. Could it be I don't have more RAM? I usually run FCP with other apps like Adium and Safari at the same time. I would appreciate any help.
