Hey guys and gals,
I'm going to purchase a macbook pro soon for video editing. I use FCS3, adobe cs5, and someday fcpx and motion 5 when I hear it improves.

I don't have the hugest budget for a computer right now, so I'm looking at the 13 inch macbook pros.

I can get a refurbished mbp i5 or a core2duo for the same price.
I can get the i7 for a little more.

The core2duo has the 320m gpu which may be better than the HD 3000.

So my question to you all is this:
For video editing including work in motion, is the i5 or the core2duo better all things considered?

And, would the i7 make much of a difference for video editing+motion work in comparison to the i5?

Thanks a ton macrumors! :)

I guess if you have tight production deadlines than the high proc\vid card is needed... if your a hobbyist than the less powerful system will work just fine.
