Rule of thumb is roughly 1 gig for 4 mins of DV stream footage, you can lower that by capturing at a smaller size or frame rate and editing "off-line" then recapture only what you need with the EDL, but it's an involved business. You'll be better capturing at full bandwidth and editing "on-liine".
