FCP - Sync/Audio Normal Video 2x?

Hiya all - Just installed FCPS2 - I am an Avid editor learning FCP.

I just hooked everything up (beta deck thru AJA IO SD) and things seem to work fine. I did a test capture, and every time I play back (either source or in a sequence), the Audio is fine but the video runs at a higher (or double) speed, obviously leading to problems :)

Does anyone have any idea on the cause?

What are your capture settings? Is it 10-bit uncompressed since you're running through AJA?

Right of the top of my head, I guess I would check to see if the audio sampling rates between FCP and the AJA deck match or disagree.

Also, when you encounter this problem, are you watching it through the AJA deck to external monitor/speakers, watching it on the computer, or both?
