FCP X: 1 Download, Multiple Machines?

Is it possible to download FCP X once and install it on
more than one machine by copying an installer or the
application itself? I realize this is not the standard
method.

It works how Lion is supposed to work. Pay for it, download on multiple machines that have the same appleID. I bought and downloaded first on my iMac. Then fired up app store on my MacBook air and the app was in my purchased tab and let me install.

I hear up to 5 machines.
Ive gone as high as 3 so far.
I cant update some at work to 10.6.7 due to other software conflicts.
