For you who works with Final Cut Pro X:
I have plans to by an MacBook Pro 13.
Is the i5 model fast enough for X? Or should I go for the i7?
(I know that you need all the power you can get when you`re editing HD footage, but I was kind of hoping to save a few bucks with the i5.)

The i5 will do, but take the machine to 8GB regardless. The real issue I see with the 13 is simply screen size-I use FC with a 15" MBP with the hi-res screen and everything fits nicely, but I wouldn't want to get smaller.
