FCP X update hidden

I saw that a FCP update was available today, Aug 25 2020 in an article here so I went to the App Store and chose Updates and it said my apps were all up to date. Then I found the FCP X app on the app store and it gave me the option to simply Open but instead I clicked on the FCPX window that was playing a little movie and low and behold I had the option to Update. Odd
 
FWIW, it sometimes takes a few days. One of my systems updated, the other hasn't yet.
