Late last year, I bought a Powermac from a guy who was a film editor, a working film editor. I specifically bought it from him on the stipulation that he indicated it had final cut pro on it. I specified that I would want the serial number from him etc., as I wanted to make sure I had all rights to use it.
He made disc images of the dvds for me from his set. I kept it this long until now when I had a chance to finally install it.
Upon install, it kept asking for audio content discs and other dvds that apparently I did not have.
I sent the original seller who is a nice guy, the screen shots and he wrote back that it could not be the FCP he gave me...
I am confused as to all of this, the Powermac it was being installed on is brand new back from Apple repair, with brand new hard drive and never had FCP installed on it before.
Either I'm too dumb about this all or i got ripped off?
