Yeah, so i updated to FCPX 10.3 today and yeah, i really like it, but there is one tiny thing that annoys me, i can't seem to get individual colors for roles on a clip where audio and video are attached, only seems like the primary color defaults to the audio color role.
The left clip actually have both a video role and an audio role, green is the audio color and the video color is blue, but only green is showing, to the right, there is 2 clips with detached audio and video and there i can obviously choose individual colors, glancing on the left clip there is NO WAY of knowing what type of video it is, i only got the visuals for audio, so how can i quick glance and say "Right, thats the b-roll WITH music"?
And this is what i want, the left clip should still be attached, but still offer individual colors for the audio and video, this way i can easily see what type of video/audio combination the clip is (interview, music, effects etc etc)
Maybe i am stupid because i do not find a way to achieve this, only solution is to detach the audio, which i do not always want to do.
So yeah, anyone got a solution?
