So, i find cmd+-, shift + scrolling, change views in the timeline appearance button to be kinda slow compared to a real scrollbar, alot of people probably are pretty used to the shortcut way of working but personally i prefer a scrollbar.

A scrollbar is kinda useful, you get a quick glance on where in the timeline you are, you instantly see your zoom level, you can easily modify the zoom level and easily move the timeline to that part you want to work on etc etc.

Would you want the scrollbar? Atleast FCPX should be offering a toggle for to view/hide a scrollbar.

I made a crude mockup, took the scrollbar from the new MBP and put it in the bottom of the timeline, you probably have to click to view in fullsize to see it but yeah, something like that would be nice.

Whats your opinion?
