FCS 2 Piecemeal Install

I recently installed only FCP, Cinema Tools, and Compressor onto a computer that already had FCE4. I have been working on it fine and I ran some updates. Now I want DVDSP, Motion, and STP but when I tried to install them it corrupted FCP. I had to restore from a clone. How can I now install these apps without corrupting my FCP?
