Hi guys
Going to set up for a client the ideal Final Cut server installation for them and was wondering what options/hardware setup you would go for.
They ideally want to have an inhouse server running FCS attached to large RAID (like the Promise VTrak system) with the ability to editshare the raw footage so different people can edit the footage both internally and externally. They have a large rack cabinet free for this task, just need to know the best hardware for the server (obviously now xserve being discontinued), fibre connections etc

Many thanks

Try CalDigit

You can try www.CalDigit.com I'm not real experienced in this area, but I use one of their products called an HDPro its more of a single user Raid5 6tb setup.

But they have additional setups, and have good prices.
