I'm currently still using my academic version of Final Cut 5.1 (FCS 1) but it appears to be grinding to a halt (my guess is it's not altogether happy working with Leopard and Snow Leopard and newer QTs.)

SO - I think it's time to update even though FCS is in desperate need of an update, and I am rather poor.

There is a 'French' version of FCS 3 on eBay, and I'm assuming that being in French it will sell for less than normal. Is there any reason I shouldn't bid on it?

Thanks!

Final Cut Pro comes in five languages, there is NO French-only version, unless one modified the software, which is against the EULA.

Great! I think that confirms it - it must just be the documentation that is in French.

Merci beaucoup.
