FCS2 and a MacBook... will it install?

I know that FCS2 officially lists the Intel integrated graphics as unsupported but my understanding is that this is really because of Motion and Color. So my question is, can I still install at least just the Final Cut Pro portion of Final Cut Studio 2 as my main goal is to just have editing capabilities on the MacBook? Also, how well does Final Cut perform on MacBooks if it does indeed install? FWIW, the MacBook is a Core Duo machine, not a C2D.

in google. That's what I did to find the above thread.
