So tonight i found out my school has a new edit suite and to my surprise its a Mac pro with FCS2. Now if i work on a project on my computer (FCS) will it open/play and make edits etc without a problem (if i save to an external drive) or do i need to upgrade to FCS2?
What will/will not work?

(wut stinks is i have the edu. version so i can't upgrade )
Thanks

Once you start using the project in FCS2 you probably wont be able to use it again in FCS.

There might be a way though. You need to search it up on Google. I have not done this, but exporting an XML or EDL as an exchange file instead of copying the project might actually work.

yea i thought about doing that, i haven't tried it yet. It seems silly why it should be compatible. (unless their is something i'm missing)
