Trying to get used to Final Cuts new layout. Wish the tools were like they use to be, but I will get used to it.

Okay most of us use separate drives to keep our videos in. So far I can't figure out if you can set a drive for all your work. I want my videos not on my operating drive, just want to use my video drive in "bay 4" of my Mac Pro.
Anyone figure this out yet.
Thanks.

Havent ventured into changing drives yet but make sure that the intended drive is HFS+ and not FAT.
Also here is the link from Apple Support:

I wish I had time to test this.
Ive been testing files that reside in my local drive to date.
So far so good ;)

soura have you tried selecting the drive in the Event Library and right-click create new event?
