what is the best way to remove fecal matter from ipad screen. is it okay to use windex or another type of cleaning product on the screen or will it damage it?

thanx.

Windex is fine to use. Just don't go crazy and soak it. You don't want any to get into it.

Anything with ammonia is usually a pretty crappy:p idea with electronics...I use a baby wipe or alcohol towelette, when I don't have electronics wipes handy.

Dont use any ammonia or alcohol products. It removes the coating and weakens the glass. Its under Apple's online support.

I've never had to remove fecal matter specifically from my iPad. I have removed smears and fingerprints with iKlear, it's worked well.

OK... Let me be the one to ask: how did you get fecal matter on your ipad? The kinkier the reply the better.

But I would think that in this case, alcohol would be recommend to disinfect the iPad.

+1 Lots of alcohol.

I know the iPad is "revolutionary," and 2011 is "the year of the iPad 2."

But keep it out of the bathroom, that's not a friendly place for electronics.

Also, be sure to wash your mitts upon exiting the toilet facilities 0.0

Posts like this are a CL/eBay buyers worst nightmare... This is the part of an online listing that never makes the description portion of the ad. For sale, iPad, mint condition, absolutely babied, like new, only sh** on one time, only noticeable if you hold it up to your nose.
Use alcohol to clean, the pros will far outweigh any cons.

i would imagine that 50% of the things sold on ebay have been pooped on at least once..

i guess the op found out that there isn't, in fact, an app for THAT.

Hey!

How come no one is asking the bigger question, namely how the F did you get doody on your iPad?

Pictures or it didn't happen. Oh wait...

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3GS: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8H7 Safari/6533.18.5)

This thread was worth a good chuckle. As a parent still dealing with diapers I can see this happening quite easy.
