FedEx.com and Safari 7.0

Ever since I upgraded to OSX Mavericks, I can't ship my packages on fedex.com. It takes 30 seconds for every keystroke to register.
Every other web page works lightning fast. Any ideas on why or what to do?

Yes. Chrome works fine. But I really like Safari and HATE having to use another browser just for 1 website. So is the problem Apple or FedEx?

I have this same problem on other websites. Never tried FedEx.com, but I smell a Safari bug. Apple is working on Safari 7.0.1 with some bug fixes - hopefully the update, when it's released, fixes this one.

A phone call to Internet Support at FedEx revealed that the company is working hard to adapt their Internet Ship website with the new OS 10.9 Mavericks.

They didn't specifically mention browsers, though. I'm a FedEx retiree and I know that when generating an Airwaybill online, FedEx gives you a 15% discount. The paper AWB with carbons really slows the couriers down.
