iPhone 15 Pro Max FedEx Delivery Authorization (Verizon)

I apologize if this thread is a duplicate as I could not find my exact issue.

-Phone is coming Friday but I am traveling home that day
-Trying to authorize it to be left at my door and/or have it rerouted to a Walgreens or something for pick up

-FedEx is not allowing me to do anything. Can I leave a door hanger authoriizing it to be left (anyone have a link/template)?

Any other options?

Unfortunately, they won't allow you to change the delivery until an attempt is made. A signature will be required for the phone & they won't leave it without one, even if you leave a note (Trust me, I've tried). Sadly, you'll likely have to just wait until the next day to get something done.

Apple ships phones with redirect disallowed and signature required. Way too common for people to scam them that way.

But they’ll retry delivery I believe 3 days before sending it back.
