Looks like they really didn't want to deliver my phone. :/ Presign sheet was in plain view on my front door and they didn't leave anything on the door saying they missed me. The only reason I know that they even showed up was because I got an email saying there was an "exception". Yes, there was an exception.

YOU DIDN'T DELIVER MY PHONE. THAT'S THE EXCEPTION
I live in the middle of nowhere in a good neighborhood. What could possibly have made them doubt leaving the phone when I had signed off for it?

So now I have to wait until they drop it off at a shipping center and pick it up. At least there won't be a line.

I'll end with this picture.

They can't leave without an actual signature. This has been discussed in the last few days.

You can't leave a pre-signature, they need you to actually accept and sign their pad.

Wait, what? Then what's the point of the presignature?

Discussed but not settled. There are reports of drivers leaving packages, so this is not universally true.

Driver's butt if he leaves it. Although he probably should've left a door tag...maybe instead of whining to the internets, call FedEx because it sounds like something isn't right.

Again, it is up to the driver to decide if he or she wants to leave the package up front. The pre-signed form is from Apple, not Fedex or UPS. You can cover your entire front door with pre-signed forms, they can ignore them all.

Meh, all is well. I'm picking it up tomorrow after a band competition now.

Ya, my UPS guy wouldn't even let my grandpa sign for the phone at my address! Same last name as me and everything. If I hadn't been able to come to the door and sign it would have been no phone for me. They said Apple is really tight control with these this year and they can't do ANY pre signs besides the one that prints off Apple's site with the bar codes and stuff and your signature. Crazy stuff.

my phone was delivered by fedex to my home since it had to be delivered to the billing address. however i just checked the tracking from work and it says delivered and left at door.

im not too worried since i live in a gated community with restricted access.
