FedEx Shipping times

8:00 AM FedEx First Overnight
10:30 AM FedEx Priority Overnight
3:00 PM FedEx Standard Overnight
7:00 PM FedEx 2Day

From what I read on there website for those wondering what time it would come. I think Apple does standard overnight so it would be sometime before 3:00pm before you received it.
 
Fed Ex usually gets to my house around 10AM on overnight shipments. I think Apple has always used standard overnight though. I do think it does depend a lot on where you live, like Krayd2k said.

Exactly.. I work 45 mins from home.. The big FedEx/UPS hubs are in the city I work in, which is why I have everything sent to my work because I know i'll get it that day. I've actually had shipments sitting 10 minutes from my work but unable to pickup because they need to attempt home delivery once... 45 minutes away, the following Monday.

8 AM is when they start delivering.. not when you will get it! :(

FedEx usually hits my office at the very latest 11AM which is why I prefer to have it sent to my job. FedEx and UPS tend to deliver to offices & businesses 1st and then homes.
 
Someone in another thread said it best...the FedEx guy comes as soon as you get in the shower, start to mow the lawn, go out to lunch, etc.
