FedEx tracking time

I got my MBP on the way but I just cant get it yet, Where is FedEx time being based?

the time on fedex tracking website is the local time at the place where the package currently is. so if it's in shanghai, then the time is shanghai time

Dont think so, if it was true then my MB has been flying all its way to the states for more than 12 hours!?

And now it is 4:30 AM in shanghai! That means more than 12 hours in a flight? isn't that to much!?

They don't always have the most consistent updates. It's possible that it could travel between 3 different fedex places without updates and then at the end of the day all the transactions show up on the tracking page.

And the time is based on the time of the current location of the package.
