Hello,
I want to install Fedora Core, basically for testing, I won't use it very often. I am sorry, I know this is not the perfect Forum for it but I think my questions fit best here.
My first questen is the following: I know I can use another drive for booting (I think they call it traget mode). But is it possible to boot a system that is on the 2nd partition on an external (USB-) drive? Or will the Mac OS X bootloader only look for bootable partitions at the beginning of the drive?
My second question is, if it is somehow possible to resize a HFS+ partition securely, if it is on an external disc an maybe revert it to the original size. I know I can do that with bootcamp, but bootcamp only does this for the drive in my MacBook, not for external drives.
Thanks in advance!
