My job is to develop a concept and design for an interactive project (a project that will use Director MX to create). The subject of the project is about scientific idea and my goal is to explain the history and development of this idea and illustrate the concept interactively. The first step I need to do is to come up with a concept then get some feed back and suggestion. The following text is my concept:
This subject that I chose for this project is Pi (ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter). In this project, I will explain what is Pi through its definition, history background, formulas and some facts about Pi. Also, funny things about Pi such as melody that was created by using the numbers in Pi and some quotes and poetries of Pi will be find in this project.
To explain about Pi, text and graphics are the most important elements in this project. Therefore I will use text with some animated graphic together to explain what is Pi and showing how to calculate Pi step by step. I also will use some mathematic graphics such as circles, triangles, or formulas as the background of the project. Button sounds are the other element that I will use in this project because button sounds will create an interesting environment for people when they are viewing this project.
