I'm in the process of developing a chat app for iOS. I know... another chat app, but hear me out.
TL/DR version;
KingForADay is an iOS chat app that connects users with a single and different King every day. Users are able to chat directly with the King, these chatrooms persist even after the King has been dethroned. This allows for persistent and at-will conversations and connections to be made.
A new King is crowned every day at 10AM PST. Users are encouraged to sign up themselves to be King. Our belief is: Everyone has something valuable to share with the community, therefore anyone can be King (at least for that day).
The mechanism of a single King allows for targeted and direct interaction with individuals that you wouldn't normally get to interact with whether due to interest, access, or knowledge.
I'd love to know what you think, if you have any feedback, would you use it?
