feedHopper now combines RSS reading, podcast management, Instapaper/readability for articles, database article searching, and more in one app.
The new update now brings a download manager for those that like to do a lot of offline listening. Previous versions always had the ability to download a podcast, but with the manager you can continue with what you are doing within feedHopper while one (or hundreds) of podcast downloads are occurring.
Note the progress meters integrated directly into the article lists. Touching on the red button aborts the download (there is a popover menu for canceling all):
There is also a new media player with cover art, and convenient 15 second skip buttons:
And a lot more:
* Icons to indicate a podcast is unplayed
* True podcast track play! Listen to podcasts in their correct order from the website's posting date. For example "xxx part 2" will play after "xxx part 1".
* Auto download any feed, so podcasts are added to the download manager whenever you press the refresh button.
