its not right to keep bashing the problem that has since been diminished 5 years ago. anybody see blue screen under XP?

Maybe twice in the last 5 years for the BSOD. But those little application error messages are waaaaay too familiar.

Also, notice how the audience picks up on and recognises the joke immediately. They've seen these before too.

Funny thing about that...MS touted that they had eliminated the BSOD problem with XP...the funny thing is, it hasn't really been eliminated, it's just that the default action for the OS is to reboot before the screen shows up rather than display it. If you turn this off, the BSODs show up again...

That said, 2000 and XP are pretty stable with decent hardware...at least in my experience.

Only BSOD I ever got was an "unmountable boot volume". Tech guys told me to reformat/reinstall. Found out later there was an easier way, and I lost all my work from a solid year of school. I back up stuff now...

Nothing teaches a lesson as well as being totally ****ed over. :)
 
Ive gotten a Blue Screen of Death many times under XP its not the same as it was with 200 98 95 ect. but its still blue and it F's up your computer!
