iPhone SE (2020) Feels like something is loose inside, sort of rattling sound when I tap on upper back area of my new iphone SE 2020.

Hi, I got a new SE2020 two days ago(yeah kinda late).

Now here are two issues that bugged me, first one is the when I slightly tapped on the back area above the apple logo of the phone, it makes a slight noise as if something is loose inside, a slight rattling sound I hear. And second one is the silent switch which tends to be loose when its on mute.

The first issue about that slight rattling bothers me a lot, is it normal or should I request replacement from that online store? Apparently the return window ends in 7 days.

Where did you purchase it from? If your sure that the noise is coming from inside and not the camera i'd say you should bring it back to get another device if possible. The reason I mention the camera is the OIS system can make noise if you tap/shake the device (due to the design) and some people are bothered by it. It definitely isn't a very loud rattle but some are sensitive to it regardless.

The slight rattling is the camera stabilization system. On both the 6s and 7 I could hear it rattle when I shook the phone, but it is normal.

The rattling noise yes its not that bothersome at all, I had it on my previous $100 android phone years ago. I got the device from an online store named flipkart(I am from India).
