Hey,

Over the last week, my 1.5 year old rMBP has shedded the 2 front round black feet. There is a sticky substance oozing out like it was some cheap glue that just melted. It never gets hot, I don't know why they are coming off.

Has anyone had this issue? Use superglue?

For the rMBP, the entire bottom cover needs to be replaced if the feet come off. You might try gluing the ones that fell off back on.

I had a similar problem with a 2011 cMBP and used some sort of superglue.

That was last year sometime and the foot that was coming off is still holding well after re-gluing. Be careful not to use too much glue as it can leak inside the case (not too much in mine, but it could have make a big mess).

That sucks. Iʻve seen this before. I think Apple has a repair kit that you can order. Hereʻs the link to the repair on Appleʻs website.

I've used superglue to fix that problem on similar model.
