Don't make us laugh. He had no hand in winning those trophies and has a very poor record for Spain.
He was great for Liverpool but that's it.

He was pretty fearsome at his peak, but it was an awfully short peak due to all the injuries.

Great player? Yes. All-time great? Nah. I can name a dozen strikers who were better.

Is there a 'no' vote option that one can click on in that poll? Or, put another way, are there any possible answers - or buttons that can be clicked - other than those marked 'yes', or, Trump?

Hm. This sounds like some of the peculiar elections I have observed in the sort of strange countries where you can only vote for the incumbent.

Could have been?

For a relatively brief window he was perhaps the best striker in the world, but his career was blighted by injuries. He had the talent, but for various reasons he wash't able to bring it to bear long enough consistently enough to be one of the all-time greats.

That was a great goal!

Not to mention it capped a hat trick!! If it had happened in the mens' game people would have been putting it in "greatest goals of all time" lists. Nobody else has scored a goal like that in a WC final, and I doubt it will happen again for a very long time if ever.
