I haven't kept up with the sport enough to opine about this guy, but ANYBODY driving a red car that isn't Schuey will be an anticlimax. Although the DC thing was intriguing. Maybe Raikkonen would make it interesting, but that would never happen.

but we are talking about a test driving spot. He is not going to drive in GPs.
And I think DC is still hoping to get a rel contract.

Strange one that...

I also wasn't too impressed when he partook in the GP's - neither were Williams by the look of it!

Would love to see Rossi in F1. Pure genius IMO.

looks like dc wont be at tam red bull next year then now!

link

so either he has got a drive with williams and hence are ruling him out without any one knowing or he is now running out of options!

He's gonna find it Coult-hard...

Methinks the latter. At the mo', his "I should get the drive"-thing is really p-ing me off - in all honesty he has to remind himself that FW wants Jenson Button for 2006 and that if FW doesn't get him, then he's gonna be looking for one for the future. Heidfield and Pizzonia both fit the bill, and both of them could test if Button gets the 2006 drive.

Coulthard's doomed, doomed I tells ya.

Well Gene has just done his first days testing... and scored a 1.15.662 which is pretty much on the pace, not bad considering it's his first day.

Interestingly Badoer was running the '05 spec aero package and was just over 2 seconds a lap slower, which gives us our first gauge for performance for the new rules due next year in comparison to this years record breaking cars!
