1) My current computer is a 2007 MBP 2.2 GHz... I hear a lot of people complaining about the webcam, would this be a step up or down compared to my current computer?

2) How much $ (ballpark) do you think the 1.3 version would be?

3) If I wanted to watch a movie (via my macbook) on my HDTV or watch slingbox on my HDTV, could I just use the HDMI port and it would do video and audio?

I think that's it for now, thanks a lot guys and gals!

You will need an adapter as there is no hdmi port, but will work just fine.

ahhh yes, I knew I forgot to ask something:

what should we expect from the speakers?

my 2007 MBP speakers aren't very loud when watching something like HBO GO...

any ideas how they will be?

thanks again!

I don't expect the speakers to be very good on such a small machine.

Actually the speakers were reported to be on par with the rmbp. Given the grill runs right along the top of the keyboard the sound isn't blocked this time
