Before I replace my Express with an Extreme:

1) How can I tell by looking at the box if I'm looking at the newer dual-band version or the older one? I want to make sure I'm getting the new one.

2) This one seems to keep changing. Can you Time Machine to an AirPort Disk?

3) I'm mainly changing my AirPort Express for an Extreme because I want to Time Machine wirelessly, what other advantages would I have by upgrading?

4) Are people connected to my guest network able to see my AirPort Disk?

Thanks! :) :apple:

3) Wireless printing, disk sharing, etc...

4) Yes, but you have to set the permissions in Airport Utility.

1) If not in grey writing below 'Airport Extreme', look on the back. It will be listed as a feature.
2) Yes. I'm doing it right now.
3) You have access to 3 gigabit LAN ports. Extreme supports up to 40 users (express only 10). Larger wifi range than express.
And now you can use your old express to either extend your network or just as an iTunes box.
