hi. im looking at getting an iphone (my first, yes) and i was looking and if you buy one through AT&T you need upgrade your contract as well as pay the like 30$ a month for the data plan, and its required. i was thinking about getting an iphone on ebay, doesnt matter if its locked or unlocked right? since im already on AT&T service correct? my main question is about the data plan. is there anyway to still be able to use the iphone and everything it offers without the data plan? on my current contract i have the internet disabled, its prolly going to stay that way. so i could just use the wi-fi, which i dont have a problem with. so is there any possible way that if i bought an iphone on ebay or off of someone new or used that i dont have to get AT&T's stupid data plan?
