So heres the deal; I'm going to be buying the refreshed rMBP (When its announced) and i typically don't like to bring that out of the house. I like to use it within my house so i figure i'll get another computer for grad school / work. My cousin is offering me his old Late 2011 MBP W/ 6750m (512Mb), i7, 16Gb Ram + 1tb HDD. I'm a bit curious as to how gaming is on it?

Don't get me wrong, i know it's not supposed to handle ultra high settings etc etc ... But will it handle most games on low? Just for some fun/casual gaming? Notebookcheck really doesn't have much on 1440x900.

Thanks!

A 6750m 512mb should be more than enough for medium/high settings in most games at 1440x900.

For casual gaming this should work nicely.

I have the same MBP model and I frequently use it to play Dota 2 which has extensive graphic display. It should work perfectly fine for some fun/casual games.
