I did a reformat and install of Leopard and trying to use ffmpegX. The program opens but brings up the self-installer screen where you have to locate 3 files and enter your password. I point the program to the 3 files and leave my password blank (no OSX password), and I get the following "error":

The installation was not successful

Any ideas what the problem is. I didn't have an OSX password running Tiger and the program ran just fine. If I add a password to my user account and then enter that in the self-installer screen it works just fine.

It looks like a minor program bug, I suggest emailing the developer.

As a Developer we really really want issues emailed to us, it helps enormously.
