FFmpegx Help or alternative . . .

I am trying to decode a .vob file in FFmpegx but whatever file format I export it too the audio is double speed and finishes half way through when the visual still continues! I have tried exporting it in VLC but the final file wont be read by quicktime and therefore won't work in iDVD

Any suggestions???
