Does anyone know if there is any sort of “field test” mode for 5G? I know there’s the nice new interface for the normal field test mode in iOS 14, but it still only shows LTE info.

I‘m mainly just curious to see for sure what 5G band is in use, since T-Mobile actually has a few options and is expanding their mid-band coverage. Just can’t find any way to tell what’s in use.

You would think that it would be the same? but yea it only shows LTE info.

I've also been looking for this info as well.
I don't know how credible this person over on reddit is but apparently he said that this option is not supported yet with the iPhone12's chip.
But my logic is that the apple field testers would need a way to check this for their testing, so I'm sure there has to be another way.

Remember to reboot your phone afterwards. It does keep running in the background if you do not and will drain your battery.
Sorry could you elaborate a little on this? At what point did you mean in terms of rebooting?
