figures in keynote

Hi guys,

I am importing a figure (which is in pdf format) into keynote, and I have the
following problem: keynote, by default, makes the figure's background transparent. Hence, if the slide's background is dark, I practically see
nothing of my plot, which was made using a white background (like most
scientific plots).

Any idea on how I can modify this option?
