As a student, there's still a few features in 3.0 that I wish Apple would have included.

I frequently access .pdf/.ppt/.xls/.mp3 files from an online repository for all my classes. Why can't I save these files to my iPod touch for use? It would be really nice if I was able to download them to my touch and then sync them over to my computer when I get home.

I believe there are a few third party apps out there right now that will allow me to access my documents while I'm away from my computer (they sync between my touch and my computer?) but it would still be nice to have some sort of file management control on my Touch. I'm sure security is a concern when allowing the files to be accessed locally, but there has to be a compromise here somewhere.

Although, I have a feeling that the rumored netbook coming out this Fall will add these features along with 'iPhone OS' versions of the iWork suite. That would be a pretty good value proposition without cannibalizing Macbook sales.
